Michael and Shirley Wilkes ran their own Restaurant with rooms for over 25 years. The River House at Lympstone featured in all the Food Guidebooks, including Michelin, and The Good Food Guide, with two rosettes in the AA Restaurant Guide.

They now concentrate on producing exciting food for both small and large Outside Events. They also cook for House Parties on a delivery or "in residence" basis.

Shirley Featured in The Women Chefs and Vegetarian of Britain Cookery Books and has cooked and demonstrated all over this country and in America. She loves to cook food from every part of the World and with a team of her own trainees now concentrates entirely on outside catering.
